Versatility of Adwater Water Features and Gardenware

Every week Cempro receives enquiries regarding the possibility of mixing and matching our adwater products to attain a unique look for their garden setting. Or wondering if their own garden art or sculpture be compatible with our ponds or dishes?  Some clients make their own ponds for our adwater water features and need technical advice when it comes to volume of water that is needed to pump around and through the water feature.

Some of our three-tiered waterfalls can easily be adapted to two-tiers, such as the Shangri-la Falls or Babbling Brooks; in fact they have been specially designed with this in mind.  Some people may just want one of the tiers.  The possibilities are endless.  Another example of mixing and matching is illustrated below with the Neoclassical Water Feature, the Mayersbach Fountain.  Image on the left shows the traditional set-up and the image on the right illustrates the Mayersbach dish on top of the Mayersbach base and then placed on a flared bowl.

We are constantly surprised at some of the unique requests and are very happy to help out as much as possible.

Installation Guide Drainage Channels

Information on how to install your HYVOL® surface drianage channels.

1. Setting Up Drainage Channels

Position channels to line and grade on concrete support pads approximately 100mm from each butted joint. Leave until concrete pads have set.

2. Encasement with concrete

Encase drain channels to the minimum dimensions using high density concrete

Increase dimensions of the encasement concrete and reinforce with steel as necessary for the intended load and usage of the channels and site substrate stability.

Encasement concrete should be installed using acceptable engineering standards e.g it should be isolated from adjacent concrete by construction/contraction joints. These should also be applied to control longitudinal shrinkage of the encasement concrete.
